The Remote Control Buttons and Their Functions

The names and functions of the buttons on the remote control are listed below.

11 MENU Display the menus used to adjust projector settings.
12 FOCUS1 Adjust overall focus.
13 FOCUS 2 Adjust focus at the edges of the picture.

15 PATTERN Display a test pattern. gh To choose the pattern.
16 10-key pad Press and hold this button for four second to disable remote operation. Be sure a aim the remote at remote receiver when performing this operation. This setting can only be adjusted using the remote control.
17 ID Display the IDs for the projector and remote control on the screen.
18 SHUTTER Temporarily suspend projection and mute audio. Press again to resume.
19 DEFAULT Restore default settings for the selected menu item. This setting can only be adjusted using the remote control.
20 SHIFT Adjust Lens shift.
21 ZOOM Adjust Lens zoom.
22 BACK Return to the previous menu.
23 PICTURE Select picture mode.
24 LAN Enter LAN setting menu.
25 LENS MOTOR Set the lens adjustment function On/Off. (Focus adjustment, shift adjustment, and zoom adjustment operations)
26 WARPING BLENDING Enter warping and blending function.
27 INPUT Select an input for the main image.
28 4K Select 4K setting ON/OFF.
29 HDBaseT Select HDBaseT.
30 STANDBY Switch the projector to standby.
31 Remote Output When using the remote control via a wired connection, connect it to the projector’s remote input terminal using a commercially available m3 stereo mini jack cable.

When the remote output terminal is used, the remote control does not emit infrared rays.

Remote Control Reception Range

The reception ranges for the projector’s three remote control receivers are as follows:

  • Angle: ±30°, -15°~45°
  • Distance: Up to 12m (39 ft)

Choosing IDs

IDs let you operate multiple projectors, either separately or together, using a single remote control.

This example sets the ID to “02”.

  1. Set the projector ID.

    Display the IDs by pressing the ID SET button on the remote control.

    1. Select Projector ID Setting in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic menu.

    2. Select On for Projector ID Setting in the ID selection display. Next, select “02” and press ENTER.

  2. Set the remote control ID.

    The remote control ID defaults to 00.

    1. A: Press and hold ID SET on the remote control for three seconds.

      yThe remote control operation lamp will start to flash for 3 seconds and then continue to turn on.

    2. B Press "0" within 3 seconds and press "2" within 3 seconds using the 10-key pad.

    3. CPress ENTER within 3 seconds.

      Y The remote control operation lamp will turn off.

dCAUTIONS

Once the operation is complete, check that the IDs on the projector and remote control are correct.

bMEMO

Projectors with IDs off can be controlled by remotes with any ID between “01” and “99”.
